Obama the Muslim
The Obama campaign has tried to discredit anyone that asserts BO is a Muslim by portraying such people as ignorant racists or evil Republican operatives. I have actually refrained from this topic on my blog, because I didn’t want to lump myself in with these “rascals.” Well, if this belief is based on racism or ignorance, it is still correct. Islamic law is unambiguous about this matter. Any child born to a Muslim father is a Muslim, the same way that children of Jewish mothers are Jewish according to Jewish Law. So, the alleged intellectual superiority of Obama supporters is already in doubt. Obama’s campaign has gone as far as censoring photos of their candidate with Muslim women in headscarves to remove any association in voters’ minds between Obama and Islam. It also turns out that Obama has plenty of Muslim associations, including rather radical ones linked to his current campaign for President. I for one do not understand why the US Constitution is so poorly worded. It’s creators clearly had in mind: USA president must be born and raised in the USA. Obviously this never crossed their minds someone would born in the US and grow up in Mumbo-Jumbo tribe.

Islam is a religion. If you follow Islam, it makes you a muslim. Obama is a Christian, and not a Muslim. I don’t see what’s so hard about this to understand.
Even if so called “Islamic law” says he is a muslim, American law says that it does not matter. He can be christian, jew, muslim, buddhist, wiccan, atheist or a worshipper of deep dish pizza, he’s still fully eligible to be President.

You miss the point. I was merely fighting the smear campaign against Obama opponents that tries to depict them as illiterate racists. Facts are facts. He is a muslim, and people that state the facts are not ignorant. Now that he’s the President, I find his outreach attempts to the Muslim world to be pathetic and misguided. He is the new Carter as I’ve said many times before.

Obama said he’s not muslim, but even if he was, what’s bad in it? I can’t figure out why a man who believes in peace and collaboration should be unfit to rule a democracy.
Stop screwing about fried air and start building something good for all mankind.
