Obama+Gore=Snore
I tried watching the convention tonight and fell asleep either during or right after Al Gore. Boy, listening Gore compare Obama to Abraham Lincoln…that was something. The facts and delivery were highly unconvincing. In short, from what I could tell the Obama speech was driven by focus groups. I don’t accept any of what he actually said to be indicative of what he would do if elected. I surely hope people don’t swallow this garbage. Secondly, I was amazed that one of the words Obama used at the start of his speech was “humility.” That’s real audacity. The Obama organization stages one of the largest political rallies in American history using a grandiose Greek temple set and then can talk about humility! It’s not about Obama…It’s about us! GAG!
Hopefully no one was convinced by the Clintons’ late endorsement of Obama either. They said what they had to at the convention to preserve their standing in the party, but no one should ignore their previous comments on Obama’s inexperience and other real short-comings.
No other commentary is necessary. This election is between John McCain the hero and Barack Obama the Zero. I only fear reading the next poll numbers showing a convention bounce. If Obama peaks at below 50% nationally, there’s still reason to believe the American people won’t go for this baloney.

The real question is: did Gore fly on his jet – wasting precious oil – or did he travel commercial? While in Denver, did he take a car or did he bike or used a pedicab or a rickshaw? Or did he just walk around?
