Democratic Convention Day 1
I was listening to the start of the NPR coverage of the DNC and actually found myself getting ill. I just can’t listen to extended speeches where anyone (in this case Nany Pelosi) praises Barack Obama. Such is my level of disdain for BO. I certainly wasn’t going to listen to the Michelle Obama’s insincere patriotic B.S. That probably would have caused apoplexy or cardiac arrest. For my own mental health, I will avoid the rest of the coverage until Thursday, when Obama himself takes the stage at Mile High. I’ll be sure to take anti-nausea medication beforehand.
I’m encouraged that traffic to this site has more than doubled from July to August and the poll numbers are at least going in the right direction. It’s better to dwell on the positive, such as this ad from McCain. Go Hillary supporters. Recreate ‘68.
