Barack Obama=Robin Hood?
Just after I conceded that Obama is maybe not as bad as I have been saying, he goes out publicly and says he wants to use a “windfall profits tax” on oil companies to give taxpayers $1,000 to help pay for high energy costs. This sort of proposal harkens back to the days of George McGovern. It’s an outrageous plan on so many levels. Exxon is a publicly traded company with 100,000+ employees and millions of shareholders who receive $1.60 per share in dividends each year. Anybody with a spare $80 can buy a share of Exxon. He wants to tax the profits of big oil and then not allow them to increase supply by exploring for more oil. What’s next, a tax on corn farmers? The price of corn in high now. Let’s get money from those evil corn producers. Then, let’s restrict how much corn they can plant. Genius!
This proposal also triggers in my mind a quote from the Audacity of Hope in which he refers to an “economic pie.” I wish I could cite the page number, but I don’t have the book in front of me. Anyway, this “thinking” demonstrates a bonehead level of economic illiteracy. Honestly, I didn’t think Obama would do such a thing in a general election campaign. I thought he was smarter than that!

Iguana, No one is paying me you inarticulate dope. The people getting paid to write garbage are those in the mainstream media that refuse to report the truth about Obama.

Obama’s gonna win, accept it. He’s the last piece to the puzzle. Enjoy your freedom while you can.

I’m not giving up yet. There is still hope that the American electorate will come to its senses.

Hi, good work! Um, I’m a Robin Hood researcher, and I’ve come to the conclusion that Robin Hood’s original audacity wasn’t stealing from the rich to give to the poor. If you want to find out what Robin Hood’s original audacity was, and see how Obama stacks with Robin Hood, visit
