Fight these smears!
The Obama campaign recently unveiled its new Web site called Fight The Smears, which will debunk allegedly false charges against Barack and Michelle Obama. However, none of the smears listed so far has been a part of this Web site. I pride myself on fact checking and accuracy. If anything on this Web site is known to be false, I will retract it. Here are some “smears” against Obama that I have publicized. I challenge any Obamaniac to fight them:
- Obama has had long-term associations with many leftists, including known communists from the time of his young-adult years to the present day. The most recent association was with a band that played at his rally in Portland in May. This band called the Decembrists plays the old Soviet national anthem all of its shows and may have actually done so at the rally. Furthermore, the name “Decembrists” has associations with early communist movements in Russia.
- His long-term association with Reverend Jeremiah Wright is reason enough to call into question Obama’s patriotism and suitability for office. He can not distance himself fully from the many anti-American comments made by Wright.
- He is sure to be soft on cruel authoritarian regimes such as Cuba, Iran, Venezuela and other unfriendly countries and this appeasement will surely hurt the long-term strength of the USA, not to mention the global economy. He has called for talks with Iran as late as 2008 and specifically called for ending the Cuban embargo soon after joining the US Senate.
- Obama’s anti-corporate ranting, including commencement addresses and direct criticism of Wal-Mart, America’s largest retail chain is reason enough to suspect that he does not believe in capitalism, which is at the heart of the US Constitution. These comments were all made in the last two yeas and can not be dismissed as youthful naivete. With such mistrust of American business the economy will suffer under his leadership.
- Obama regularly uses plagiarized material in his speeches. Plagiarism violates copyright law which is also part of Article 1 of the US Constitution.
- Leftists and radical armed groups world-wide from the FARC in Columbia to Hamas in Gaza have endorsed Obama on grounds that his policies would be more favorable to them.

Senator Obama is NOT a Dirty Muslim!
“What you won’t hear from this campaign or this party is the kind of politics that uses religion as a wedge,” says Mr. Obama, while denouncing statements of him being a Muslim as a smear. Why is the presidential candidate who claims to be religiously inclusive is treating the word “Muslim” as an insult? Apparently, it is OK for Mr. Obama to be associated with terrorists like William Ayers or racists like Jeremiah Wright, but God forbid somebody would call him a Muslim! No, he won’t stand for that kind of smear! We admit that most terrorists are Muslims, but most Muslims are not terrorists and the statement on Mr. Obama’s website is insulting to hundreds of millions of people.
How could a man who discards his family heritage in favor of political expediency be even considered for presidency of the United States? Where are all the so-called “Islamic civil rights groups” like CAIR, MPAC, ISNA, MAS, etc. who are quick to defend every Islamic terrorist, but are silent when Muslims in general are being denigrated? Would Mr. Obama have the same reaction if someone claimed that he was raised as a Jew? We sincerely doubt that.
Muslims Against Sharia demand immediate removal of “SMEAR: Barack Obama is a Muslim” statement from the official Barack Obama’s website as well as an apology for giving the word “Muslim” a negative connotation.

To be fair, Hamas “un-endorsed” Obama.

They were orignially probablly projecting their Arabic desires on him given his Islamic-linked past. However, they denounced him after he gave a simple speech.

Kip, Thanks for keeping the blog honest. I believe honesty is the best policy. The anti-Obama movement needs credibility and that means not circulating rumors and inaccurate information.
